WORLDS KEPT THEM APART.
DESTINY BROUGHT THEM TOGETHER.
Aria has lived her whole life in the protected dome of Reverie. Her entire world confined to its spaces, she's never thought to dream of what lies beyond its doors. So when her mother goes missing, Aria knows her chances of surviving in the outer wasteland long enough to find her are slim.
Then Aria meets an outsider named Perry. He's searching for someone too. He's also wild - a savage - but might be her best hope at staying alive.
If they can survive, they are each other's best hope for finding answers.
I finished this one fast, it was really exciting. I loved the double perspective: there was Perry, the outsider's narration, and on the other hand, Aria's, the insider's. At first, when we "heard Perry's voice" for the first time, I thought he and Aria met accidentally, but I loved how their fate locked together. It was interesting to read a story of a third person's point of view for a change.
I liked how different was the life and the culture of the two main characters. I found the idea of the Worlds, the e-eye and that every person of the outsiders have some special gift. It symbolizes how valuable they are, altough they are outsiders.
